How to get to Gothenburg

LCM 2013 is held in Gothenburg, Sweden. The conference venue is Clarion Hotel Post, located at Drottningtorget 10, just outside the Gothenburg Central Station.

Within Gothenburg

In Gothenburg, almost everything is within walking distance. Gothenburg has a comprehensive public transport system. Tickets can be purchased at Pressbyrån, 7-Eleven (one way, one day or three days tickets).

Train and buses

While we know international flights are hard to avoid, we encourage you to take rail transport within Europe. You can save on your C02 footprint while comfortably enjoying the scenery; it’s the best way to travel! Within Scandinavia it is also possible to travel by coach. To enjoy the beautiful coastline and amazing oceanic scenery, ferry offers the most environment friendly possibility to travel to Gothenburg. The archipelago areas nearby are definitely worth a visit.

International flights are hard to avoid. We encouraged you to carbon offset your trip as much as possible. Please book you flight to the main hubs in Europe, take a short tour to experience the local culture and atmosphere. And then you could have an enjoyable trip with a comfortable seat on the train or ferry that sails all the way to Gothenburg.
