Welcome to a sociable summer BBQ at Trädgår´n (The Garden)! Trädgår´n is a popular meeting point on warm summer days and nights. We hope that you will get to experience Gothenburg’s best summer costume while mingling with your fellow delegates!

Welcome reception in the City Hall

The City of Gothenburg has the pleasure to invite you to attend the Welcome Reception at the City Hall, called Börsen (the Exchange). Börsen was originally a commodity and stock exchange where town authorities also gathered for formal festivities. It opened in 1849 and the City Council has conducted its meetings there since 1863.  Centrally located at Gustaf Adolf´s torg (square) just five minutes’ walk from Clarion Hotel Post.   

The Welcome Reception is free of charge however pre-registration is mandatory. This is included in the registration fee for delegates only if marked upon registration. The reception includes wine and cocktail snacks (salad), and is free of charge.

Conference Dinner at Kajskjul 8

27 August, Dinner at 7.30 pm (boat trip 6.30 pm from the Conference Venue)

By Paddan-tour boats (Paddan=toad) you will arrive to Kajskjul 8. Kajskjul 8 is genuine and rustic venue in the middle of the harbor, in the middle of the city! Your welcome drink can be enjoyed on the terrace with a nice view of the harbor!

Kajskjul 8 was built in 1870 and was originally used as an old warehouse. With an enormous capacity and a perfect position at the quayside it was used to store exotic spices imported from the foreign east and timber that was to exported throughout the world. Nowadays our venue is filled with expectant guests!
